St Patrick’s Day Oreo Truffles
These St Patrick’s Day Oreo truffles are an easy no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, then dipped in candy melts. Perfect for parties, holidays, or when you want something festive without turning on the oven.
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper so the truffles don’t stick later.
-
Mix the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese in a large bowl until it comes together into a thick, even mixture. It should look like soft cookie dough.
-
Scoop about 1 to 1½ tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
-
Pop the tray into the freezer for about 20 to 30 minutes, just until the truffles feel firm.
-
While they chill, melt the white and green candy melts in separate bowls, using short microwave bursts and stirring often. Add a little oil if needed to smooth them out.
-
Dip each chilled truffle into the white candy coating, let the excess drip off, then place back on the parchment.
-
Drizzle with green candy melts, add sprinkles while still wet, then refrigerate until set.
Note
These truffles can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge until ready to serve.
Mint Oreos work great for a more festive St Patrick’s Day flavor, use the same amount.
Truffles can be frozen for up to 2 months, thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
